MOB Market Day

Sports City Car Park in Laucala bay was busier than usual on Saturday as the public took advantage of the first Marist Old Boys Association (MOB) House Claudius Market Day Fundraiser.

The Market day was made up of over 25 small to medium entrepreneurs around the greater Suva area selling a wide range of products from household items, fashion, electronics, and everyone’s favourite - fresh local delicacies.

Faizal Khan a member of the organizing team says one of the reasons for the market day was to provide an opportunity for small to mediam enterprises (SME) a space to showcase their products and in return to raise funds for their club.

‘When we have to raise funds for the club, we always think of ‘soli’, this way it’s a win-win’ says the MOB member.

The MOB House Claudius committee hopes to turn the market day into a monthly event.
